ABOUT ME
I am a freelance graphic designer, project manager, researcher, and writer—“a Swiss Army knife,” to quote a client. I bring flexibility, thoughtfulness and a positive attitude to any project or collaboration. I love creating clean, well-considered, user-friendly designs which keep project goals front and center.

Since creating posters as head of the publicity committee in 6th grade, I've always been attracted to graphic communication. I was a senior art history major at Yale, doing paste-up for the daily college newspaper, when I learned that graphic design existed as an actual profession. After graduating, I moved to London and found myself working in the production department of Penguin Books. It was an exciting time marked by the transition from analog to digital design and reproduction methods. From there, I became a sales person for an illustrated book printer, learning the ins and outs of print manufacturing and working with diverse clients to produce their coffee table books and catalogs.

Fast forward to Los Angeles, where my husband and I settled in 2000. After my second child was born, I enrolled in the Design Communication Arts program at UCLA Extension, finally realizing my dream of training as a graphic designer. Since then I've been helping clients improve communications with their audiences and advance their business goals through great graphic design.
